  • Redemption
  • Justification

Community Meditation

Growing in knowledge

  • Discuss the huge significance and smallness of human beings. How does an materialist conception of the world minimize the importance of love?
  • Have you ever considered all the wonders that love’s war on sin has accomplished in Jesus Christ? Consider together the four theological truths that Jesus’s self-giving, self-sacrificing love accomplished for us.

Feeling life deeply

  • How do your disappointments in relationships (family, friends, lovers) point to our longing for perfect love?

Living with courage

  • Where do you need to forgive because of love? If God has forgiven us in Christ, how can we not do the same for others?
  • In what ways can you better love your friends, family, those who are outside of the faith etc. in more than just words.  Make a list of people in your life and think of practical action to love them with no strings attached.
