Community Meditation Questions

Growing in knowledge

  • Does Jesus change who God is, or what God does? How does he change the paradigm expected by people?
  • Discuss Jesus’ statement that “it is not those who are well who need a doctor but the sick...that he came to not call the righteous but sinners.”  How do you see yourself? Others? How do we see ourselves In Christ?

Feeling life deeply

  • How do you feel when God shuffles life on you? How do you feel when things change? Do you fight it? Embrace it?

Living  with courage

  • How does your life intersect with “Tax Collectors and Sinners”? What ways do we avoid this? In what ways do we justify our avoidance?
